Waresley and Gransden Woods (ER8). Park near the Duncombe Arms at Waresley (TL250546), for a walk of about five miles to Great Gransden and back via Gransden Woods.

River Ouse from St Ives (ER25). Park at or near the Dolphin Hotel at St Ives (at the southern end of the old bridge – TL313713). The walk of about 6 miles traverses water meadows and the delightful villages of Hemingford Grey, Hemingford Abbots, and Houghton, passing the old water mill and locks.

Saxon Street, Woodditton & Cheveley (ER26). Park at or near the Reindeer PH at Saxon Street (TL594678), for a circular walk of about 6 miles through the borders of Suffolk & Cambridgeshire.

Rifle Range. Park at the Village College in Comberton (TL376560), for a walk of about 5½ miles crossing the Rifle Range at Barton (they do stop shooting!) to Coton and back to Comberton by the Whitwell Way.
