Elmdon & Heydon.
Circular walk of about 6 miles, on the chalk downlands around the ancient Icknield Way. Parking to be determined, probably at or near Elmdon Nature Trail (TL461395). Ring the leader first.

About 6 miles, passing Fleam Dyke (7th century earthwork).

(S. of Newmarket). Circular 5 miles.

(ER16). 5 Miles, along disused railway, though the heart of the fen, and back along the riverside. Park near The Plough PH at Fen Ditton (TL483607).

Lost villages of Croydon and Clophill
. Seven miles with lunch at the Queen Adelaide PH in Croydon. Park at or near the village hall in East Hatley (TL288506).

Coton, Girton and the American Cemetery
. 6 miles from Coton to Girton and back via the American Cemetery at Madingley. Park near the church at Coton (TL408588).

Babraham and the Roman Road
(ER20). 5½ miles. From Cambridge go over the Gogs (our local mountains) and turn right into Babraham. Park near the George PH (TL513503) for a walk passing the River Granta, an ancient tumulus, and the roman road.

Greensands Ridge
(ER32). Park at Sandy, in the public car park (has loos) near the market square, on the right of the High Street after station and church on left (TL174493).
The walk of about 7 miles goes to Everton (lunch at Thornton Arms PH) and back, passing woods, halls and your local TV transmitter!
